Description
A DIN-rail DC miniature circuit breaker (Suntree SM8-250HPV/2) rated 250A at 1000V DC, 2-pole, giving overload and short-circuit protection for a solar PV string or battery circuit. It's purpose-built for DC — safely breaking the sustained arc that direct current produces, which an ordinary AC breaker cannot — and doubles as a manual isolator for safe maintenance.
