How we estimate this
We use rounded planning costs of J$35 per unit for the first 100 units, then J$50. These are reference costs, not today's exact JPS rates. With batteries, we allow for 80% of estimated solar output to be used at home; without batteries, 40%. Actual use can differ. We count only electricity used at home, with no credit for selling power to JPS. If you add charges, we keep J$650 aside for fixed fees; your actual fees may differ.
